Colon Hydrotherapy

Colon Hydrotherapy, also known as a colonic, colon irrigation or high enema, is a safe, effective method of removing waste from the large intestine without the use of drugs. It is a gentle way of introducing warm, filtered water through a a small (pencil-size, sterile, disposable nozzle) into the colon. The waste is softened and loosened, resulting in evacuation through natural peristalsis (the colon’s natural muscular contraction). This process is repeated 30 to 40 times during a session. It is cleansing, yet clean and soothing. Colon hydrotherapy best benefits the body when used in combination with adequate nutrient and fluid intake, as well as exercise.

Colon hydrotherapy is one of the most effective and efficient ways of cleansing and ridding the body of toxins and of significantly improving digestive functioning.

Why is one’s digestive health so important? Our digestive system is the manner in which our body receives the fuel necessary to perform its many functions.  However, if we are not ingesting the right nutrients, or if we are unable to digest, absorb or eliminate those nutrients properly, the body is unable to function optimally.  That is when illness and health problems can occur.  It is believed that up to 80% of disease can be prevented through proper nutrition alone.

Colon cleansing is the first step on the road to recovery.  When you have cleansed your colon and restored the balance of the good and bad bacteria, when your body begins to produce sufficient enzymes and your dietary food intake and internal production of vitamins is established, your food sensitivities should greatly improve or disappear.

The benefits of colon cleansing are many, not only in terms of health but also as it relates to ones appearance:  glowing skin and clear eyes; cellulite, water retention and blemishes disappear; easier weight management; improved digestive function; increased energy; improved blood circulation; positive and relaxed mental state.  Today’s sophisticated technology makes this health practice both safe and sanitary.
