What to Expect during a Colon Hydrotherapy Session
The Angel of Water is a gravity-fed, open design system which offers a very simple, safe, comfortable and hygienic means to irrigate and cleanse the colon of accumulated waste, gas, mucous, undigested food and toxins. The following sequence of events briefly describes the colon irrigation procedure as conducted by myself, your trained and certified Colon Hydrotherapist.
You will be shown to the private room at which time I will go over the system’s features with you. I will then explain how you will be left in the room to remove your lower garments, how to recline on the ergonomic, open lounge system and self-insert the disposable, sterile pencil-sized nozzle approximately one inch into your rectum. You will be provided with a cover cloth and will remain draped throughout the session so privacy and dignity are never compromised. I will re-enter the room when you let me know that you are ready to begin your session. I will then activate the water flow and you will feel a gentle flow of gravity-fed, purified warm water enter your colon. The water will continue to flow and build up with minimal pressure until you begin to feel full. At this point you will have the natural urge to release and the fecal matter and the water will be expelled down into the basin drain located below you. When the matter goes down the basin drain it passes through a clear viewing tube before disappearing into the clinic’s plumbing system. An angled mirror allows you to view the matter that you have expelled. The process is odourless and painless.
The filling and evacuation process is repeated approximately 40 to 50 times during the 45 minute session at which time the client’s colon has been irrigated and hydrated with approximately 8 to 12 gallons of water. Waste matter is released out of the rectum and around the nozzle and complete evacuation of the colon is achieved.
At the end of the session you will then slide back off the rectal nozzle and remain in the reclined position for about five minutes to allow any water or matter to drain out. You will be provided with a complimentary electrolyte replacing drink. Once you have finished draining, you can then rinse off using the personal sprayer and towel dry; arising from the system clean and dry. You can then get dressed and wash up at the sink in the room.
